The Pseudorealist Art form of Devajyoti Ray has been described in popular media as "Everything that is India, Everything that is 21st Century and Everything that is Art"
in his pseudo realistic art, he is trying to show the contemporary Indian Society as controlled by media and the virtual world. His subjects of paintings are common men and women of India and his paintings reveal subtle commentrya and satire also.
