Who is the Artist?
Gazala Chinwalla - Fine Artist, is an American artist born in Bombay India.
At the age of 25, Gazala was a model in Bombay for over 500 fashion shows and the face of Bombay Dyeing. After arriving in New York 29 years ago, Gazala at first worked in the Fashion Industry with Maggy London International and Couturiers Oleg Cassini and Oscar de'la Renta as Sales Manager. Gazala moved on to the Hospitality Industry as Sales Director of the Hotel Intercontinental New York and then to Doral Hotels and Resorts Boutique chain, as the National Director of Sales and Marketing. Returning to fashion briefy after her hiatus, Gazala organized a major charity event and designed the clothes for a fundraiser to benefit children affected by HIV/Aids in Bombay.Gazala finally joined Citibank New York as a Financial Analysis Trainer for 7 years before she retired from Corporate America. She is now painting full time and lives and works in New York
