Baroda-based artist Swapnesh Vaignankar draws inspiration from the things that surround him and through his artistic vision he studies the textures and nature of things. In his recent show, titled, Stark White, He uses inks, watercolours and acrylics on paper to create monochromatic works with some intense colours.
The drawing and print series are abstract in nature. The artworks reflect his memories - one such work being, Work in Progress, which shows figurines of workers against the silhouette of a construction site. The show is on until October 30.
